Rep. Jay DeBoyer is in his second term in the Michigan House and was first elected to serve the 63rd House District in November 2022. The 63rd District encompasses southern St. Clair County and northern Macomb County.

Jay has brought common-sense leadership to Lansing that is tailored to St. Clair and Macomb counties. He has been committed to serving the area and making it a better place to live, work and raise a family.
Jay has advocated for plans that lower taxes and other cost of living burdens, make government more efficient, and protect critical election integrity measures.
Having been involved with sports boosters, coaching and serving on local boards and commissions, Jay understands the kitchen table issues that matter to workers and their families.
Education
Jay graduated from Algonac High School 1988 and attended St. Clair Community College from 1989 to 1990.
Professional
Before entering office, Jay spent 12 years as clerk and register of deeds for St. Clair County. He also served as Clay Township’s trustee and supervisor.
He has been a small business owner in the area since 1994, with his business specializing in engineered lumber. Jay understands that these vital job providers are the backbone to our state and local economies.
Personal
Jay is married and has two children.
He is an avid hunter, fisher, and boatsman.
